Welcome to the CopyApes crypto copy-trading platform (the “Platform”). Before using the services, please read and understand this User Agreement (the “Agreement”). This Agreement is a legal agreement between you (the “User”) and CopyApes (the “Platform”) regarding use of the Platform services.

1. Service Description

  1. Platform role: The Platform provides crypto copy-trading software tools that let Users replicate selected traders’ strategies (“Copy Trading”). The Platform only provides technical support and trading data interfaces; Users choose which traders to follow and execute trades accordingly.
  2. Technical support: The Platform acts solely as a technology provider, supplying near-real-time copy data and execution interfaces so trader actions can sync to the User’s exchange account. Users must select follow targets themselves and make investment decisions based on their own judgment.
  3. Not an exchange / broker / asset manager: The Platform is not a crypto exchange, securities broker, investment adviser, or asset manager. It does not custody User funds and does not provide cashing or safekeeping of assets. Funds always remain in the User’s own exchange account.
  4. No financial advice: The Platform does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or trader recommendations. Technical services must not be treated as an endorsement or guarantee of any strategy or opportunity. All actions are based on the User’s own choices; the Platform is not responsible for investment decisions or market changes.

2. Who bears trading profits and losses?

Answer: Users do. The Platform is not legally liable for trading P&L, delays, or technical failures, and does not guarantee copy-trading success or profitability.

  1. P&L risk: The User understands and agrees that crypto markets are highly risky, including without limitation market volatility, technical issues, and operational mistakes. All trading profits and losses while using the Platform are borne solely by the User. The Platform is not liable for any User losses, including without limitation losses from price moves, delays, unfilled orders, or technical failures.
  2. No Platform liability for trading results: If the User incurs any profit or loss while using copy-trading services for any reason, the Platform assumes no legal liability. The Platform does not guarantee success rates or profitability; Users should decide based on their own risk tolerance.

3. Platform Rights and Responsibilities

  1. Platform services: The Platform may modify, suspend, or terminate some or all services at any time as circumstances require. The Platform will use reasonable efforts to keep services continuous and stable, but is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by networks, devices, or other force majeure events.
  2. Technical assurance: The Platform aims to provide stable, responsive copy-trading technical support, but does not guarantee that every order during copy trading will execute successfully. The Platform is not liable for failed or unexpected execution caused by data delay, price volatility, network latency, or similar factors.
  3. Account security: Users are responsible for keeping account information secure, including passwords and API keys. If a security issue is discovered, Users should notify the Platform immediately. The Platform is not liable for losses arising from account security problems.

4. User Rights and Obligations

  1. Account management: Users must protect their accounts and must not disclose account information to others. The Platform is not liable for losses caused by disclosure, loss, or theft of account credentials.
  2. Legal compliance: Users must comply with applicable laws and regulations and ensure trading activity is lawful. Users must not use the Platform for illegal conduct, including without limitation money laundering, fraud, or market manipulation.
  3. Risk assumption: Users must fully understand and assume all potential risks when using the services. The Platform recommends that Users understand trader strategies, market conditions, and possible risks before copy trading, and invest cautiously.

5. Privacy Protection

  1. User information: The Platform will take appropriate technical measures required by law to protect personal information. Unless the User consents or law requires otherwise, the Platform will not disclose personal information to third parties.
  2. Data use: The User agrees the Platform may collect and use service-related data such as trade records and operation logs to improve quality and experience, handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

See the on-site Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

  1. Force majeure: The Platform is not liable for service interruption or non-performance caused by force majeure events (such as natural disasters, war, technical failures, or network issues).
  2. Market risk: Crypto markets are highly volatile and investor P&L is closely tied to market moves. The Platform is not responsible for market risk and does not guarantee investment returns or protect against losses.

7. Changes and Termination

  1. Agreement changes: The Platform may amend this Agreement at any time due to legal or operational needs and will notify Users via site notice or other means. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
  2. Termination: Users may stop using the services at any time. The Platform may terminate accounts and access if Users breach this Agreement or applicable laws.

8. Dispute Resolution

  1. Dispute resolution: Formation, performance, and interpretation of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to a court with jurisdiction where the Platform is located.

9. Other Terms

  1. Entire agreement: This Agreement is the entire agreement between the Platform and the User regarding the services; prior oral or written arrangements are superseded by this Agreement.
  2. Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Questions about this Agreement may be sent via the site “Contact Us” section or email [email protected].

10. Compliance and Risk Disclosure

  1. Tool nature (reconfirmed): CopyApes is an automated copy-trading software tool that helps Users sync trading instructions via official exchange APIs (or User-authorized cookie/session methods). The Platform does not match trades, custody assets, or promise returns.
  2. Regional and eligibility compliance is the User’s responsibility: Legality and access rules for crypto, derivatives, and copy-trading services differ by country and region. Users must confirm that their place of residence, nationality, and the jurisdictions of their exchange accounts permit use of the services and related trading. If local law prohibits or restricts use, Users must stop immediately; consequences of local non-compliance are borne by the User. The Platform may restrict or terminate service to certain regions without prior notice.
  3. High-risk warning: Futures trading and copy trading are highly risky and may result in total loss of capital due to leverage, liquidations, slippage, latency, missed copies, trader behavior changes, or improper parameter settings. Users should use the services only after fully understanding these risks and having adequate risk tolerance.
  4. No advisory role and no performance guarantee: Website, dashboard, rankings, win rates, equity curves, tutorials, blogs, and other materials are product descriptions or educational/observational information only and do not constitute investment advice, trade recommendations, or any promise of returns. Past performance does not indicate future results.
  5. Third-party dependency risk: The services depend on exchanges, networks, cloud infrastructure, browser extensions, and other third parties. Exchange outages, API changes, rate limits, session/cookie failures, network attacks, or force majeure may delay, interrupt, or fail copy trading. The Platform uses reasonable efforts to maintain availability but does not guarantee continuous uptime or fill outcomes.
